PUSHING THE FRONTIERS OF INCLUSION THROUGH TECHNOLOGY!
The Network of Women with Disabilities (NWD) joined key stakeholders at the Technology and Employment Inclusion in Marginalized Contexts (TEIMC) Roundtable, hosted by Jobberman Nigeria in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation under the Young Nigeria Works programme.
Held on June 19th, 2025, in Abuja, the event brought together voices from across sectors to explore how digital innovation can bridge employment gaps for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), marginalized women, and IDPs.
Our Founder and Global President, Madam Lois Auta and her Technical Advisor, George Precious, actively participated in the breakout session on employment inclusion for PWDs, calling attention to accessibility barriers, the need for assistive tech partnerships, and enforcement of Nigeria’s 5% employment quota for PWDs.
Together, we are advocating for inclusive digital platforms, disability-friendly policies, and economic justice for all!
